Red Lion Leytonstone

I have been a resident of Leytonstone for a decade, and the Red Lion Pub used to be a vibrant, cozy, and forward-thinking establishment. Unfortunately, as many have observed, not only has the quality of the food declined, but the service and overall sense of hospitality have diminished as well. Despite giving it another chance today, it has not shown any improvement, and as many others will agree, you can have a much more enjoyable experience at one of the nearby pubs. I really do not wish for this pub to lose its charm, and I sincerely hope that you find your vigor again and return to being the welcoming local spot in Leytonstone that you once were.

I really enjoy this restaurant, there is a lot happening here. They have updated their menu and now offer great vegetarian and vegan choices. It's the kind of pub where you can come alone and enjoy a peaceful drink with a book, or bring a group of friends. There is a diverse crowd, a welcoming atmosphere, and a laid-back environment. My only critique would be that some of the bar staff could benefit from additional customer service training.

Consistently offering a wide variety of beer choices, whether on tap, in bottles, or on draft. The knowledgeable staff can recommend different beer styles and warn customers if the price is higher than expected, which I have found helpful. As for the food selection, I wish there were more vegetarian options, but there are always a few choices available, including a delicious burger that always makes me happy.

We returned to Red Lion to see our daughter who lives nearby. The restaurant is located in a great spot in the heart of Leytonstone. The dining area is clean and comfortable, although it may be a bit dim, it has a warm and cozy atmosphere. I would recommend it.

This will definitely become our new favorite spot! We enjoy the authentic pub atmosphere, and the ballroom makes for a great club experience. Can't wait to return soon.
