Red Mesa Mercado - Reserva de mesa

I recently dined at Red Mesa Mercado on 1st Avenue N and had a fantastic meal. I ordered the plantain bowl without any additional protein and paired it with hibiscus iced tea. The food was high quality, authentic, fresh, and delicious. The hibiscus tea was a standout for me - it was surprisingly sweet, made with real brewed hibiscus tea and cane sugar. Perfect stop. Great location and facility, we were a party of 8 sat on the front patio on a late Thursday evening. Quick service and a wide selection on their menu. I?m vegetarian and got a great tofu taco and the Cadillac Margarita, skinny lesssugar and right amount of tequila. Great elote, street corn, also from the crew good review of the chicken tacos and fish.Definitely a fun stop with good food, quick service, and a clean facility.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! I ordered their chicken taquitos and they were delicious. The rice and beans were also very tasty. I enjoyed sitting outdoors and the ambiance of the restaurant. The only thing that wasn't as good were the tamales, but that's okay (homemade tamales are usually better). Overall, I would still give this place 5 stars. I highly recommend dining here!

I visited this restaurant with my mom, who was initially doubtful but ended up loving it. Both of us are vegetarian, and we were pleasantly surprised by the plethora of options available. The establishment was immaculately clean, and the staff were excellent. I would rate this place a perfect 10 out of 10 - absolutely spectacular, unlike anything we have ever experienced before. The marinated tofu tacos were excellent! The plantains were fantastic as well. Even though I made it clear that we are vegan, we were served vegan tacos with a side of beans and dairy cheese. The staff seemed clueless about our dietary preferences. The restaurant only has outdoor seating and you have to order at a window, which may be a preference for some and not for others.

The tofu tacos were tasty, with the option to add avocado cream if you mention you're vegan. The chips and salsa were also enjoyable. The beans and rice were decent. Although there wasn't anything extraordinary and I wish there were more vegan choices, overall it was a good experience. I would rate it 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.

I have always enjoyed coming to this restaurant, and today was no exception. The atmosphere was very relaxed and peaceful. I ordered the Rita's Passion margarita and chicken empanada for a quick pick-me-up, and both were delicious. I highly recommend trying the Rita's Passion Margarita.

Absolutely love red mesa mercado. The chicken burrito always hits the spot and their salsa verde is amazing. Staff is super helpful and they?re definitely a central ave staple. I always get the chicken burrito but recommend the taquitos as well!Empanadas are also good Reserva una mesa ahora

tofu tacos were good, and they will put an avocado cream on it when they say they are vegan. chips and salsa were good. bon and rice were good. nothing spectacular and I would like to have a few more vegan options, but it was good. 3.5 stars rounded to 4.

excellent marinat tofu tacos! plantains fantastic! no matter how clear I was that we are vegan, we have vegan tacos with the side of the bores and milk cheese. is everything outside sitting, ordering on a window. you love it or you don't.
