That was the first Asian buffet that I was in since the beginning of the pandemic. The server was very friendly and attentive. A dirty dish never sat there for more than 3 minutes and the drinks were kept filled. The range of foods was wonderful, with more different types of chicken dishes and rice dishes as I thought possible. All seafood dishes were well prepared and I tried every one of them. It was about everything you wished on the steam table, and the bowls were never empty. I'm a big guy, so I was interested in the dessert area. My wife was craving Chinese food for lunch but wanted to try something different from our usual spot nearby. She recalled a Chinese restaurant that one of her recent clients brought to her salon and suggested we check it out. I hadn't been to this area of Valley View in ages, so I was surprised to discover a Chinese restaurant here. I’m really glad we came. We ordered the House Fried Rice with chicken, beef, and shrimp, as well as the Mongolian Chicken Wings, and both were fantastic! This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Roanoke. The food is consistently excellent, and the lunch buffet is affordable and definitely worth it. The staff are always polite, helpful, clean, and well-dressed. The women’s restroom is also always tidy, which is a nice touch since some places don’t maintain theirs very well. I’ve tried both the a la carte options and takeout, and those have been great as well. I always leave satisfied after my visits, and Red Palace is always a wonderful addition to my trips to Roanoke. My family and I go there often, and we absolutely love it.
Red Palace is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I will drive all the way to Roanoke (45m) any time. The food is always fresh and delicious. Food is put out in reasonable time. If you need a special item just let the staff know. I've never gotten sick from the Red Palace. I absolutely love all the staff. The servers work really hard and it shows. My table is always clean upon sitting, drinks refilled without asking, plenty of napkins, plates and trash cleared and lots of smiles. I recommend Red Palace!! Please leave a tip!! The best food option around the area. I usually hesitate when I see an all you can eat Chinese buffet. This was nearest to the hotel I was staying at and seemed to have the best reviews. The parking lot was packed which was a good sign. Most of the food was steaming hot and tasted great. There is a menu you could also order from but I don’t see why you’d limit yourself with plenty of great other options. $15 a person for dinner is a steal and make sure you leave room for dessert. The food quality at this restaurant is excellent. Considering the takeout buffet is only $12 and you can fill your box as much as you want, it’s a fantastic deal! The food, particularly the Chinese dishes, was truly impressive. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that we live quite far away, but we will definitely stop by whenever we head south!
