I had been looking at this place for a while now. Seen the reviews and decided to give them a try. When I walked in the older lady at the counter seemed instantly irritated and unfriendly. Not warming at all. Asked what was a great drink and she barely wanted to talk to me. She was VERY low energy. Then when I recieved my drink it looked NOTHING like I expected or seen on the photos. I asked if I could have a glass she said no because of covid. I’m extremely confused about this place. Won’t be returning. Poor customer service and disappointing experience.
This place is a hidden gem. My husband and I love this coffee shop. It's in the heart of downtown Homewood right by the Metra. The owner is very nice, and her shop is so cozy with lots of small business made products to choose from while you wait on your coffee to be made.
Enjoyable independent coffee shop. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. They serve Big Shoulders and Metropolises coffee Roasters (excellent coffee). Enjoyed a Cortado, regret not getting a sandwich, they look yummy.
An absolutely adorable shop, Kim was very welcoming and our latte and cold brew were phenomenal! Will definitely be coming back! Dietary restrictions: Has milk alternatives, as well as gluten free options!

I’m a traveler. This warm, welcoming shop uses an aeropress to make a good cup of coffee. I love their vegan pastries and the staff are so kind. Vegetarian options: The strawberry vegan scone is delicious!
Love the owner, love the Fireside latte, love the goodies in the store . Such a wonderful treat to stop into this store!
I came for the food after seeing all the pictures, but there was nothing available. I'm really disappointed!
Unique foods and spices. Tea was good. Fresh vegetables were going bad. Kitchen not open at all.
