We are staying at sequoia lodge, and being the local bar/restaurant this place is convenient.We visited last night for food and drinks, after waiting half hour and not being attended to, we went to find some service.We ordered food and drinks and they where brought out pretty quick.We where however waiting on one meal, eventually most had finished their food and the waiting party member decided she was going to cancel the food when it come out.The food never come and upon paying the bill, we informed them about the meal that had not been brought out, to which he informed us that the kitchen had ran out! Popped in for a drink before our taxi home, waited 25 minutes before going to the bar to order, was told we can't order at the bar and someone would come and take our order, another 5 minutes pass and the hostess came over to ask what we wanted, at this point we were packing up to head to our taxi so we told her it was too late and we had been waiting too long. She didn't anything and just walked off. She then comes back to say we had to leave if we're not ordering (even though we had been trying to order for half hour! Not even an apology for the wait. French customer service is truly shocking
Skip the buffet chaos. Forget the steam trays and the line at Hunter's Grill. Redwood Bar and Lounge is a great alternative. Charcuterie board with sliced baguette was simple, honest, perfect. A club sandwich that does its job without fuss. The staff was very kind and even indulged in our broken French. A quiet corner where you can eat, breathe, and relax after a long travel day.

Arrivée au bar pour un digestif après un parfait repas au Hunter 's grill ! Je demande une table facile d 'accès et près de l 'entrée ! Le serveur me rétorque : vous m 'en demandez beaucoup là ! Désolé de vous déranger avec le handicap de mon mari (il a besoin d 'une canne et sa motricité est limitée) !!!
Nous avons passé un agréablement moment dans cette hôtel extremét chaleureux. Le coin canapé au bord de la cheminée est exceptionnel. C’est entouré De boutique et de jeux pour enfant. Nous avons été servie rapidement. Je recommande cette établissement.
Un excellent moment passé pour notre première soirée dans l’hôtel. Apéritif et planche de charcuterie excellente. Le personnel est très sympathique et chaleureux, au service de leurs clients. Mention spéciale à Stanley pour son accueil.
j’ai passé un super moment avec mon copain, Sarah, une cast barmaid/serveuse était vraiment super sympa et nous a fait passer un excellent moment et je lui en remercie !! <3
