Closed during winter season, this refuge can only be reached after a steep hike, between 90 min and 2h30. Elevation gain is 800m/ 2400 ft. From there one gets a fantastic view over Mt Blanc , Aravis range to the East and very impressive Tournette to the South. Since the restaurant was closed, we enjoyed our picnic outside. What a fabulous getaway! It was so tranquil there - the only sounds were cow bells and the occasional airplane. The dinner was excellent, as was the breakfast (we chose the demi-pension). The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. I can't wait to go back!

Après une randonnée de 1000m de dénivelé, à proximité de Thônes, loin de la vie urbaine, un refuge planté dans un écrin de verdure vous offre un panorama exceptionnel. L'accueil est chaleureux, les produits dont frais et locaux. UN superbe endroit !
