I have been visiting this restaurant once or twice a year and have occasionally been disappointed when the crab is sold out before I get there. However, this time I decided to contact them in advance while travelling around Fife by bus. They kindly agreed to set aside some crab for me as I would be arriving around 2:00pm. I was thrilled when I arrived to see the 'crab rolls sold out' sign, but was relieved to find my order already prepared and waiting for me. I happily enjoyed my meal overlooking the sea harbor from a bench on the terrace. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
This restaurant is situated on the Crail harbor and is a small, but very popular establishment. It is recommended to arrive early as they often run out of their specialty crab by noon. I ended up getting a lobster roll for £8, which I found to be a great price considering it was lobster and came with a delicious sauce. Guests have the option to dine at picnic tables or sit on the harbour walls, both of which offer a lovely atmosphere. Overall, the food was simple yet tasty.
On holiday, getting Lobster Crab from Reilly's. Mail Order from this summer (20% off 1st order), that's what we will use frequently. Pre-Ordered 6 king size Male Lobsters, 1kg crab claws, couple of dressed crabs on impulse. Fiona (Richards wife) was lovely. Lobsters cooked an hour before collection. Magnificient, enjoying with salad, Presecco later, freezing what we don't eat. £30kg fresh out of the sea, as good as money can buy.
We were staying in Crail for a couple of days, and based on reviews on here popped to Reillys for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Lovely service, and some nice seating options around the harbour. We had a lobster roll and a dressed crab both delicious. Would recommend checking out the tide times before you go, it's nicer when the tide's in!

This little shack is fantastic for the best, freshly cooked lobster. Wait for a sunny day, get there early before they run out, grab a bench and take along some beers/wine to enjoy with your seafood. It’s honestly one of the best ways to soak up the East Neuk and enjoy its summer seaside days Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Came here with friends and certainly did not disappoint. What a meal. Between us, we sampled the lobster rolls, crab rolls and dressed crab. Absolutely amazing. The lobster was succulent and extremely fresh. There are benches for you to sit around beside the harbour, just be careful of the seagulls though. Great lunch!
Outstanding. Fresh lobster rolls for just 8 quid, stuffed with lobster meat and lobster sauce. Fresh lobsters are 30 pounds per kg, they even cook them for you. You can eat at the pick nick area or take it home. Amazing. totally going back!
Fantastic experience if you are fortunate enough to enjoy a freshly prepared lobster. If not, the pre-cooked options or rolls are equally delicious. Living the good life.
