This little place is on the main road to Chalvignac from Mauriac. It looks like an ordinary house and has only a Kronenbourg sign to distinguish it as a hostelry. It is normally only open for lunches however it would be possible to book an evening meal for a party. There is no menu, you get whatever is being cooked that day. I've been several times and never been disappointed. Last time was 1. Thickish minestrone and onion soup. 2. Home made paté and charcuterie sausage. 3. A roast meat platter between 4 of us - duck, chicken, veal and turkey + aligot (cheese and potato mash). 4. Salad. 5. Cheese. 6. Apple pie. 7. Coffee .
