Rendez Vous Bakery Bistro

We all ordered the French onion soup, which was made from scratch, complete with their own homemade bread and cheese. It was fantastic, possibly the best I've ever had. The mussel appetizer was quite generous, priced at only $13. The endive salad was beautifully presented, and the person who ordered it really enjoyed it. My wife chose the Chicken Marsala and was very pleased with her meal. I opted for the pork chop special, which came with a mustard glaze, potatoes, and a small bean stew/cassoulet. It was excellent. For dessert, we shared three options, all of which were delightful: a Key Lime Tart, a Fruit Tarte, and a Mango Guava cheesecake. The service throughout our meal was exceptional...

Good food. Rendez vous is best if the owner is there. The food is authentic French. I often order two appetizers because the main parts are too big and I like to have a little dessert in the end. The moules a la creme are delicious and the escargots, as well. A small salad is still quite large. The charcuterie is excellent. I wish they had a menu with four courses for about $15, like a cup of soup, a small appetizer, a small main dish and a dessert. It is a good restaurant to sit with someone and talk about good food there are no loud TV screens to you scream. And there is no problem parking, no trouble with vessels. I recommend it.

My only complaint? Getting the check! LOL. But yesterday was a perfect example of why I adore this restaurant. I arrived just after 10 AM, and only two tables were occupied. I snagged what I believe is the best seat in the house and ordered a simple breakfast: two scrambled eggs, a croissant, and parsley garlic potatoes. After placing my order, I noticed that 8 or 9 more tables were filled within minutes of my arrival, and soon enough, the place was bustling just as I’ve come to expect. I truly love this spot—excellent service and delicious food!

Great Crepes. Friday nite was not crowded and it allowed for conversation with the staff about the restaurant. My friend provided great background dinner music on his keyboard and accordion (Fri Sat). The soups and the crepes were excellent. The scallops au gratin and the escargot were just ok. The dessert was worth waiting for and we were told the owner/chef bakes them daily in the wee hours of the morning. What a GEM!!. I previously had breakfast here and had a poor experience so you can imagine my surprise at what an EXCELLENT dinner experience we had last night. From the food to the service, everything was right on!! We will definitely return.

The restaurant, run by a French owner and chef, is fantastic. The service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus, there’s free parking available on-site. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

In my opinion, this is the best place for breakfast in Fort Lauderdale. My personal favorite is the chicken, spinach, and parmesan omelette served with a baguette. And the orange juice is freshly squeezed!

I tried this hidden gem when I was alone for lunch, loved the roast beef aus jus, went back for dinner had the beef bourguignon loved it! Definitely going back!

My Favorite Breakfast place. Great Breakfast menu, not the normal scrambled eggs bacon... great choices, great for lunch too.
