as I know this restaurant for a long time, decided to visit again as service seems to change a lot. salad was nice but after finding a nice hidden spot on the terrace to avoid smokers, staff went exactly behind me to... smoke : and...finished just after me. hope the non smoking terraces will be more known and avoid non smokers be penalised by the smokers. It 's a paradox coming to such a lovely spot in the mountain with clean air to be... invaded by the others smoke! a pity no newspapers orwifi were offered
twice we were very disappointed this winter: the first time, the phone reservation was not taken into account. the second, the reservation - especially at the röstis corner - has been validated but at 1:00 pm there was no röstis ... the welcome not coming and for the least commercial of the bosses did not fix things! damaging! we who had our habits at (the old) gaby lost the pleasure of visiting us and are even reluctant to make a reservation!
I absolutely loved Gaby. You are under new ownership and you have a fabulous mix of French and Swiss specialities. Everything is fresh and delicious. Cheese is served by farmers in the small restaurant below. The interior is very large. If you're lucky, the owner will pick you up in his snowmobile. I suggest the desserts, the owner is a former French pasty chef. The family owners are just beautiful.
The boys tasted a cheese crust from the farm, which was excellent. I took a soup, very good too. fresh seasonal vegetables. dessert we took the salt a delicious fruit and cinnamon cake. We took advantage of our passage to buy raclette and charcuterie. We made the raclette and it was excellent. cherry on the cake, the service is very nice! We'll be back!

Every year we pass through here and we see that the service does not get drunk: the waitress never took to smile or to listen. You have to wait for her to leave. And come back to pay, it's like they're doing a favor.

The new owners are so beautiful. I really loved the food. Fabulous desserts prepared by the owner, a French courtyard chef. I can't recommend it enough. Great error of French and Swiss cuisine.
