Last night, two couples went to this restaurant and had a fantastic meal. The restaurant specializes in Asian cuisine and was bustling with diners when we arrived. Our food was served promptly, in less than 15 minutes. The menu offers a variety of Asian dishes and sushi options, each dish beautifully presented and delicious. We brought our own wine and ordered right away. I ordered an Asian seafood dish with shrimp, fish, and scallops, mixed with red peppers and served with white rice and vegetables. I have always been a fan of Chiyo's food. Their prices are reasonable. Ambiance could use improvement and in the past their service was terrible. To my great surprise and delight, they fixed the service problem. They hired more staff in the kitchen and on...the floor. I was impressed by the service received during my last visit this past weekend. I typically order sushi although their cooked dishes are very good as well. My favourite dish is their tartare (salmon or tuna). I haven't found a better tartare anywhere. Their sushi is very good as well although you can find better in Montreal. I have gone to this restaurant several times. The food is very good I always order the General Tao my husband orders the sushi. The prices are reasonable,portions are very good, service is fast and friendly. My only complaint,I find the restaurant very loud. The...last two times we went I could not hear anything my husband was saying to me. I went home with a headache! I will give this restaurant another go,but if I have the same experience it will be the last time. You can not really enjoy a nice meal when you have to scream to be heard and you develop a headache during the evening because of the noise!
