Restaurant Churrasco Portugril

It’s quite unfortunate that this place does not follow COVID-19 mask protocols. I attended this place on Nov 19 and the young girl who was packing the takeout food was not wearing a mask. In addition, she was speaking to a customer who had entered the restaurant who was also not wearing a mask. No effort was made to enforce mask wearing, they were both just chatting about how stupid the mask mandate is. How can you enforce when you don’t lead by example. If you don’t want to put your health and safety at risk then don’t come here. If you want to make a political statement about masks then feel free to come here.

I ordered 2 whole grilled chickens and both were very dry, worst was that several of the pieces were severely burnt/charred (refer to photo) that they were inedible. I drove from downtown Toronto to give them my business and I was not impressed. Update (November 18, 2021): I added a side order of their potatos. Great! Thanks Maria, you are one of the rare managers that still exist who have a passion for their restaurant and aim for customer satisfaction!

We had excellent service and a good meal.I had roasted chicken and my husband had pork. Both were good but I didn't like the sauce very much. I would have it again with it on the side instead.It's not a fancy place. They also have take-out and it seemed popular for that, which is usually a good sign. You order and pay at the cash and they bring it to the table.It's very clean and the staff were really friendly.

Lovely ladies working here, that are very helpful and definitely make your feel at home from the moment you enter. Went in on Sunday to cure myself from the night before.It was my first time ever stepping foot inside this establishment and I must say, it was rather pleasant. delicious every time. my partner and i eat here regularly as it's across the street from home and they never let us down. food is always super fresh, their portions are generous and the service is always really nice. : love supporting this restaurant.

Liked the grilled chicken. Still moist and not dry like other places. Loved the tarts. The medium sauce lacked any kick. The sides were okay. The sole tasted like it was previously frozen. Portions are big. Prices are reasonable.

I try to make time to grab one of their amazing sandwiches whenever I'm in Toronto. The Drunken Pig is my fav!
