Went there on a Saturday night and loved it so much we went back the next day for lunch! Saturday's meal was five courses for €24.50 (€3.50 supplement for foie gras). Plump garlicky gambas grillées, daube of sanglier (wild boar), confit du canard, generous cheese board, sorbet and crème brûlée for dessert. Had almost the same again the next day. The house wine is good at €11 per litre. Best decaffeinated coffee I've ever had. Monique and Stéphane run a tight ship and get every detail right. Couldn't recommend this restaurant more highly - the best in the region!
Visited recently with friends who live in the area and were delighted with the atmosphere and food quality/variety.All local produce including lamb, wild boar, steak, foi gras. The quality and service was excellent and enjoyed by all. We had a carafe of the local red wine which went well with our chosen main courses and also with the local cheeses. The prices are modest with a choice of menus. The total for 4 people for three courses and drinks was a very reasonable 100 euro.I look forward to returning in the future. Would highly recommend.
Galey is a really pretty village we were lucky enough to enjoy the scarecrow festival and appreciate stunning gardens around the village before sitting down.We ordered wild boar which was recommended and we weren't disappointed my Daughter had burger which was also excellent. Staff wonderful so accommodating and interesting watching through the window !
We took a drive through the country on Easter Sunday. The restaurant is situated in a charming mountain village. The service was quite good. They even had menus in English. The food was well-presented and quite tasty. The salad, foix gras, boar stew, and mango custard were superb. We had 3 courses for 19 Euros. We will definitely return!
