Restaurant De La Barillette

The drive up is beautiful gorgeous trees, bendy roads that are narrow at times. The restaurant has friendly service with a pretty white terrace covering so you're almost completely in the shade. We had an epic fondue, seriously tasty. The white wine complimented it nicely, as did the charcuterie as a shared starter. I asked for tarte du pomme, which was more than doubled the portion size I was expecting, they wrapped up the half that I couldn't eat for me to take away. Perhaps I should have had a sorbet, like my friends. The views are beautiful. Highly recommend.

Wow!!!! What a gem! This place is amazing for lunch after a walk in it’s beautiful surroundings and has the most gorgeous terrace with best views on lake Geneva (the entire lake!!! and the French alps. Food is good with a nice menu (salad, sausage, cheese fondue, entrecôte , good children’s menus (theee choices . Also lovely for an apero or coffe and cake. Kids can walk around while waiting for the lunch and have a blast. Do book ahead and visit in good weather when views are good and you can sit on the terrace for the maximum experience!

I've been to this restaurant several times, the latest one yesterday. We've always been very warmly welcomed. The food is delicious and the view magnificent. What a nice spot to escape the heat of Geneva for a few hours. Highly recommend.

Best waiter of the world, he was helpful and super friendly. The food was also very good and tasted like it was made from god. It‘s a nice place to visit with friends or family.

Refused to serve us food and drinks at 3pm after a long hike simply wanted to close the restaurant earlier. Most rude and unfriendly experience ever made in Switzerland
