We went there for dinner at the end of August. The food was amazing and the service very friendly and warm. The restaurant looks slightly modern within what is a very old house but the style fits the slightly fusion esque approach to the cooking. They have a medium range of choices on their menu, a good indication that they are very serious about the quality of their dishes. We ordered fried squid (which came out nothing like I expected fried gently in garlic and herbs) and dried ham (which melted in the mouth). We were cycling from Cherbourg to Le Havre staying in B&Bs along the way. We ate lunch and evening meals in a range of establishments but this was by far the best. A buffet starter followed by a delicious main (my wife had gammon in a mustard sauce and I had chicken . Then cheese, ice cream and coffee. All washed down with a bottle of house Sauvignon! It was full of locals (always a good sign! , we sat outside in the glorious sunshine overlooking rolling Normandy countryside. Not a word of English spoken. What's more to want? We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

My wife and I struggled to find a good restaurant option in the Deauville/Normandy area that would be a good dining experience for New Year's Eve without breaking the bank. We came across Le Restaurant de la Galerie and had absolutely wonderful cuisine and a great dining experience that was worth every cent. The food is contemporary, but uses local products. The wonderfully crafted dishes were just great. The dining area was intimate with a fireplace and walls lined with art. Such an unexpected gem in the Normandy countryside.

My wife,her brother and I visited the restaurant during our stay in Normandy, last summer. Our only regret was that we waited to go there for our last evening in France. It is a charming restaurant with fusion-sequence surprises. The taste of every course was a total surprise. I would highly recommend going there to experience the joys of a culinary delight.

Went on recommendation from other reviews on Trip Advisor. Poorly executed fusion food is not what you want in rural France, and surely fusion is more than merely adding heavy amounts of ginger ,chiili and curry flavourings. The only good thing was the service.
