We were spending Christmas at our flat in Vence. We had planned our Christmas food shop and had done one or two other necessary things. We realised that we were hungry and left our car in the Leclerc car park. A friend who was house-hunting...in the area a few years ago had told us about this restaurant and we always intended to try it. It is convenient for us; near our condominium and the supermarket where we shop. We saw that there were a few tables available and so we called in. We were looking for a cheap and chichi-free restaurant. pleasant reception, possibility to eat on the terrace. a wide choice of pizza, rather good, that of my friend missed a little garrison (anchovies), mine was largely (paysanne). a la carte, we also find salads, pasta, meats. several accustomed to the restaurant, very quiet atmosphere see silent, fortunately there was a little music in the background. We had about 25 euros for around two. a nice pizzeria to eat well for small budgets.
For more than 20 years (25 ?), the merle family has been in charge of this establishment with simple but safe cuisine, with its customers of inhabitants. if Mr (well known in the past and in the sporting environment in particular) is in the pizza oven (many of which are always carried away) his wife is attentive to his clients. The service is young and inexperienced but it is summer then we will regret that the bottle of wine comes to pass in front of the customer as the juices of fruit, but the kitchen is good and you spend a good time on the terrace.
Absolutely perfect ! Really nice food, a top service and great relaxing atmosphere on the terrace , my wife had roast Pork with dauphinois Potatoes, me Salad Niçoise, both were plentiful with good quality ingredients, it was a lovely ambiance, chilled service delivered by a...real kind waiter , no rush , no stress and miserable faces like you see in so many restaurants these days!.. a real treat .. we look forward to becoming long term customers. everything is in the title: the dishes are good and generous (the menu offers a wide choice of pizzas, meats). with a very friendly service, smile and efficiency. and, in order not to spoil anything, the prices of the card are affordable. The outdoor terrace is very quiet in the evening. A good address for this family restaurant.

warm welcome, beautiful room and terrace. Quick service. Pizzas are excellent. parking right next to the restaurant so convenient enough.
