We visited this this restaurant for lunch twice this summer.On both occasions we found the setting, the grounds and the house delightful. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we dined outside in perfect weather.Our first visit was at the beginning of August and the menu, the food & the wine were all excellent. The combination of flavours, the choice of wine to accompany each dish were all very good and we passed a very pleasant two or three hours.The food on our second visit at the beginning of September was very disappointing; The menu was limited, the dishes were minimal and the wine was far from plentiful. This is a very special destination. Three km out of the village of Tourtour there is a very small sign leading down an unprepossessing lane to an electric gate, but once opened what a place! Even when only lunching the manager came out to greet us in the parking area and to escort us into a gem of a hotel. We chose to eat outside in a courtyard surrounded by white roses and superb views. The service, the food and the atmosphere were excellent. Allow time after lunch to wander around the extensive grounds----- nobody hurried you to leave. A thoroughly gracious and memorable experience. We only wished we were staying having been shown a suite.
Calme, luxe et volupté... L'endroit est un petit coin de paradis. Le domaine est magnifique. L'accueil est chaleureux. L'apéritif en terrasse avant de passer à table avec vue sur les champs d'oliviers. L'équipe est très attentionnée et le service est d'autant plus plaisant qu'il n'est pas guindé. Quant à la cuisine, le chef nous offre un bouquet de saveurs avec produits locaux. Parfaites cuissons, parfaits assaisonnements... Laissez vous tenter par le menu avec les vins du domaine. The kitchen sources its ingredients from local farmers and produces its own honey, herbs and olive oil, all of which were exquisitely good and of great quality. The food is top end yet unfiddly and the regularly changing menu offered significant variety each night despite having dinned there for three consecutive evenings. While the restaurant only had their house wines on offer with dinner, they were very enjoyable and paired equally well with the evening menu.

Ce manoir est la derniere demeure de Bernard Buffet. Décoration exceptionnelle. Il faisait très beau mais nous avons préféré déjeuner à l'interieur! Formule à 60 euros avec vin de la propriété et café. Rien de spécial pour les enfants, c'est gênant pour un repas familial. Tout était parfaitement bien cuisiné maison Subuet oblige (Fermes de Marie à Megève) La promenade jusque la cascade est recommandée.
