Restaurant Eiserner Ritter

We were in the house guests and while we would normally eat in the city, we decided to taste the restaurant and were so glad that we did it! Excellent service, excellent food. We even had one of the “Staff” translate the menu for us just to find...out later he was one of the owners!! A truly professional restaurant, but with all the charm of a family business. The gnocchi with a creamy truffle sauce was to die, there was the rag steak that could be cut with a spoon. My husband had the shrimps and the oxen and he wasn't disappointed either. A really wonderful experience.

Very nice little family restaurant. pleasant atmosphere and the tables are beautifully decorated. the menu was small, but good team up. that shows that the food is fresh. the price is a little expensive, but he wore it. our waiter offered us wine that suits our food. We have a few starters in the house. Bread with homemade cottages. That's a very good gesture. the section is very large. very tasty. So just one word: very good! we really loved our visit to this restaurant.

We spent a Sunday evening with the 5-course BBQ for 40€. Food and service were immaculate. We traveled a lot in us and know how to taste BBQ, and we were really impressed. What we found strange was that they used a 4-person tablet for 2 couples, something that is not common in Germany, especially for multi-course dinners.

We stayed one night in Boppard and went to eat at the Eiserner Ritter on the strength of the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was varied and delicious, the atmosphere cozy and the service quickly and friendly.

The menu is very good and varied.This is lovely traditional German food and beautifully cooked and presented.The service is top quality with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble. Lecker!
