Restaurant Goldener Ring

We were recommended to give the restorer an attempt as we did not reserve a table in our hotel. When we approached the place, we could see through the windows that the ground floor was packed, thanks to the goodness there were still seating on the first floor. Within a few minutes a waitress brought us the menu, she took our drinks order, shortly afterwards she came with the drowned beer a local awaken tastes pretty good, my wife on the other hand was disappointed with the dry white wine. Greek food typical menu Gyros, Kalamares, etc. It tasted good, but nothing to write home. Beautiful terrace that allows you to see a little life around. There was a school event that was celebrated at the theater near the terrace, so it was...fun to see all the kids dressed, girls insecure on high heels for the first time, guys all dressed in a suit, but wear their running shoes! Back to the restaurant, the food is nothing you will remember for a long time, but service was friendly and fast, what gives you more time to visit the beautiful city!

We ate here three times during our one-week stay in Meissen, the food is fresh and high quality with HUGE portions, one of the best restaurants in Meissen. Georgios the owner is an extremely hospitable guy and his employees are attentive and friendly....We will definitely eat here again at future visits in Meissen.
