Great restaurant, something hidden, but so delicious. On the menu there is a good selection of Saxon food and home kitchen. Prices are more than fair and affordable. From the seat you can take a look at the Albrechtsburg. The boss cooks himself in this restaurant. I had a gallette bowl (sächsische Bauernsülze) with roast potatoes, very tasty and saturating, with a regional dark beer from Meissen.

Very nice place with good view outside and interesting interior inside. Helpful staff and simple, tasty food. You could choose beer or Meisson's vines for drinking with traditional German meet dishes at quite reasonable prices. I was here for three times and had very pleasant impressions.

we saw the sign for fresh austerity and snitzel around 9 euro and wandered down into a beautiful garden from the very old and beautiful gastronomics. wonderful eating, cheap eating! we felt that we were part of the neighbourhood. Reserva una mesa ahora

Winkelkrug is a hidden restaurant in the centre of Meißen right under Albrechtsburg. The food is typical home kitchen and tasty and largely inexpensive. The service is very nice. The food came within 15 minutes. Top performance.

We saw the sign for fresh spargel and snitzel at 9 euro and wandered down to a lovely garden off the very old and lovely Gaststatte. Wonderful food, reasonably priced! We felt we were part of the neighborhood.

Eating as with mothers in times of the GDR delicious home cooking just delicious. Cosy to sit inside and outside. Nice operation. atmosphere simply cuddly. Cheap and delicious.
