as guests of the hotel we were somewhat disappointed. eating was good, the service in the hotel was not appropriate, very reserved and not very competent and customer-friendly. there were already lack of pettyness, no oil to bronish no salt and pepper, and if 5 guests come also 5 serviettes should be covered. the weeping of the wee also remained and one should consider, children are the customers of tomorrow. it was my 70th birthday, the flowers extra ordered stand on the table. a wish would have been appropriate.

Went with wife after long drive to just have casual dinner. Positively surprised by excellent craftsmanship and tasty traditional fare - "Himmel und Erde" for example (black pudding with mashed potatoes). It is expensive alright, but the quality (and location) justifies it.
