I can’t say we go here regularly, but as we live in Montauroux we’ve been maybe 5 or 6 times before. Over the years, we have found it consistently good, so it’s one of the places we have no hesitation in going to, given the opportunity. We enjoyed our meals so much that we returned for the 2nd time within a few days and had planned on returning for the 3rd time but did not manage. As I am writing this, I am kicking myself for not making the time to do so.We love everything about this restaurant; terrace seating/ambiance, food and service. Apps: Shrimp served with couscous was tasty. The Duck served in balsamic reduction was ridiculously delicious; super tender and no grease. Not too crazy about the side dishes, potato and tomato/eggplant/bacon layers. The lemon dessert was decent, not sure what to expect but I had expected to be a killer. We have been very happy a few years ago with this restaurant and our kids wanted to renew the experience this year. 2 waitresses were in service: a young friendly blond and an older short haired not friendly blond. We have been served by the second one. Maybe she had a bad day. But even our kids (11, 13, 15 years old) were shocked, and it was not a language problem, we are all French speaking natives. Here attitude, the tone of her voice, her replies to our questions were not nice at all. She didn't seem much nicer to the other tables.The food was not as good as in our souvenirs. We held our wedding reception this last year at La Becassiere. The Ricco Family are special people who understand service and food with a kind of intimacy and delicate touch hard to come by. The food Mr. Ricco makes is well constructed and from the heart. A seven course meal that ended with cake at 3am in the morning left all our guests, drunk, full and fully elated. The patience and attention to detail the Ricco’s paid to us in making our evening perfect should not go unnoticed. Our guests are still talking about the meal. La Becassiere a gem of a restaurant. We can’t wait to dine there on our next visit!
We have not been here for some years but last night was very pleasant indeed. There is a new (for us) outside terrace with comfy, shaded tables and chairs and the menus were good, very traditional, with nice accompaniments and competitively priced. Service was attentive, the proprietere was on hand to take the orders. We will come back.
Delicious and fast???????????? we went to with my crowded family and all of us liked there. We went late with no reservation but they were helpfull ????
For the most part, I usually agree with my fellow Yelper Stephanie Sbut I can understand why we diverged so much this time.

Sort of tucked away in an industrial zone is a small little sushi oasis called Kura Sushi.
