Restaurant La Grotte

This place is very busy. Unfortunately, I can't rate it as highly as others. Amy son had the beef goulash and said it was good...particularly liked the sauce. I had the Rossi with spinach and fried egg. Unfortunately the rosti was quite greasy and not so crisp. Dessert was chocolate mousse and chocolate ice cream The mousse was quite good but the ice cream was the smallest dip

Excellent dinner and very romantic. Atmosphere was cozy and the service was delightful. The lamb was cooked medium and was perfect. The side dishes are a la carte but can easily be shared. The risotto was absolutely delicious. Best onion soup and the tomato soup was also flavorful. Enjoy!

It is a hidden gem in Murren with best food in the area. Prices are a bit higher (as you expect in Switzerland) but quality and taste of food beats it hands down. Service is great too. A must have dinning experience if you are in Murren!

The service was superb and the food was delicious. Especially given that the price was only a little more than we paid at these places.
