This restaurant is located directly in the Herbelon campsite, near Treffort. The interior was renovated in winter 2020 and has a large and pleasant outdoor seating area, which overlooks the campsite and the Monteynard lake directly beyond it. Luckily, there are many wide parasols to provide shade if needed. The surroundings are very attractive on a sunny day. The food was fine, but in some cases not much more. For example, the steak and the chips were just that, without other vegetables. But the starter salad was very good and good, and the desserts were impressive both in their amount and in generous portions. Also used to this restaurant for years, we are very disappointed with our last visit.45 minutes to take the order of the apes !! as much as to say we've been forgotten. I am a customer accustomed to this restaurant as well as my family for years, food is always excellent but the service leaves to desire a lot of gaps and expectations, the prices of the menus are important ( maybe because of a large foreign clientele) and yet we are used frozen bread we eat with paper towels as in a snack. I think the bosses can do much better, and more respect the local customers, who are very disappointed like me with the general welcome and service that is degraded over the years. I hope things will evolve positively.

we were with family, 7 people, we took aperitif, dish (salade) and dessert! and we have enjoyed ourselves! Well, we were expecting a little salty, but it was worth it! What a nice surprise to have dinner in this great restaurant. the chef puts a point of honor in cooking local products. We had been told of the good of this restaurant! what disappointment . frogs insipid and ochre very disappointing for the taste buds and served almost cold with a sauce frozen in the plate, dauphinois grtins dry.The whole seem to come out of the freezer.Woefully the ice, especially the episcopal" came to the level. Only the bill was flying high!
