I visited La Terrasse on a Thursday evening, shortly after opening time and I was the first customer in the restaurant. I was greeted in a welcoming manner by Madame (La patronne) and a member of staff. I chose the 28 Euro menu and I...ordered the home made pate to start (delicious), then I had the lamb casserole, which was served in a metal dish (very tasty). I was offered one piece of cheese from Camembert, Pont l'Eveque or Bleu d'Auvergne. I chose the bleu which I enjoyed. There was a selection of desserts and I had the Mousse au Chocolat. Went here with hubby whiles on holiday for our silver wedding meal , with my cuz and his wife to who stay in France, this restaurant was recommended by there friends. Being in the country I had to try snails they were very nice ...we then went on to have mains then cheese then deserts food was amazing . Service was great to very friendly staff. Will definitely be heading back here when we return in the near future .
The welcome remains as warm as ever. Although we endeavour to converse in French they are well able to accommodate English. Remains on our favourites list. Already booked in for another visit in a coyple of weeks before returning to UK

one of our regular visits to the contrary apart from social distancing, this restaurant is as good as ever, but the booking is essential. good food, service and staff
we came back after a 4 year old crawl to find it as good and as friendly as we checked it in 2018. it is nice to sit on the terrace and watch people!
