Laxenburger Hof - Reservar una mesa

I all fairness the food was ok compared with the price but when I tried to pay with mastercard the waiter Otto started yelling Invalid and waved with a printout from the terminal. When I asked him what was wrong he again yelled Invalid and when I tried to hand him one of my other credit cards he said cash only . We paid in cash and left the restaurant quickly wihtout giving tips. I used the same creditcard later the same day and it worked perfect. The service of this restaurant beats anything I experiences in New Your in the 80 's:

The waiters were rude and didn 't really care to get the order right. The food was ok (I had the cheese spätzle) but it was difficult to feel comfortable there. The 'natural ' apple juice wasn 't really as described.

When I read the other opinion I just wonder, maybe the personal was completely changed. Arriving to Laxenburg, we had a coffe, and than later on we went for lunch. Quick and efficient service and very good food.

We were there last week and it was really good austrian food and a wonderful and lovely staff! I think they changed the owner the last year and now it's really just enjoyable! I totally recommend it.

Absolutely incredible customer service. The wait staff is friendly, caring, and attentive. The food was wonderful. This is a must visit for anyone in town!
