I ate here with my wife who was verbally attacked by the waitress while we ate our meal then again on here for advising other travelers of our bad experience. When we were presented with our 300g entrecôte cut into 2 thin slithers I asked my wife to ask the waitress why. I was Worried that the waitress had misunderstood our order and had given us 2 steaks each. I never thought for the life of me a chef would cut an entrecôte into slithers. The reason I went for entrecôte is because 300g means a nice thick steak, nicely browned on the outside with a nice **** middle. As a result of my wife politely asking the question she was profusely attacked by the waitress even after my wife said everythi...
The site is beautiful, it's said. a pity that the friendly tables on the water under the shades are reserved for "self-service", drinks and ice if I understood correctly; For the restaurant we will have to suffer the heat of the terrace in front of the house, overwhelming despite the parasols....The cuisine fortunately is worth the blow, for example the superb Auvergnate salad that makes a full meal in one large plate! The portions are generous, and we're going to ask if we still want them. Thank you, but now we're just gonna take a nap in the grass.

We were entitled to a table on the pleasant already well-filled terrace. the menu seems to us a little expensive at first sight, 27€, but in the end it is justified. very rich and delicious dishes, frog thighs with succulent garlic cream, very good frying, crispy, ... and a trout without stop. A happiness. pleasant service, we recommend this restaurant very frequented by our Dutch neighbours. and there is a good reason;)
We go here often because sitting by the river in the garden with a cold beer is a delight. Exceptional in fact. Also the drive there is delightful. However if you plan to eat the cooking seems to be poor quality. It may be that we’re simply not familiar with Belgian cuisine. But frankly I had one of the weirdest omelettes I’ve ever had here. The best thing about Le Beau Site was its sloping lawn down to the river with some simple, comfortable rustic tables and chairs. We recommended lots of people to go there. We went there for a drink last week. Now there’s now a huge tent with a bar in it, and some white plastic chairs by the water. It looks like an army camp and seems really unsympathetic to the beautiful environment. The target market seems to be bikers or other big groups.
Beau site has been run by a West Flames couple since last year. The bar's institution references that. Walls taped with flame newspapers. And left and right humble reading. The map is quite extensive and offers a delicious approval. Unfortunately, not enough time to try everything. Delicious food! Fine cook!
