the hotel is located in the heart of the Bourbon countryside with a beautiful view from the terrace has the basis what might be a great restaurant. unfortunately it did not live on its potential. we took a menu terroir and a menu plaisir. with a reasonable bottle sancerre; it all came to euro. not good quality for the money. the quantities offered were somewhat too much and everything seemed to be lacking innate taste, some of the sauces seemed to be there to contrast the taste that was lacking in the food, even rather clumsy. overall the meal came as too heavy and blunt, without fine. the drone starter was catastrophic; there was a strange taste for the pistacios who worked with the earthly...

we were recommended on the way back to Great Britain. our meal was excellent every cure was excellent. but the environment I mean, the decoration was so secret that we felt we were resting in an old people. to house! pfirsich pink walls, flowery wall freezes, terrible, artificial flowers, cheap gray tablecloths, and just such a terrible lack of good interior design it was laughing. safe if you can serve so much, why on earth you do not sort out the hidden interieur. also the young lad y who served us, although efficiently looked as if they belonged in a cheap bar not a class restaurant. you attire needed definitiw some attention and we are not prudes!

We were also sat in the middle of the restaurant for minutes without any service or a drink. The two members of staff prioritised their regular business customers even though some arrived well after us. At one stage we wondered if you had to...order by i-pad.

the food was very good and the staff pleasant. they served people in strict rotation, which is not always our experience.
