Restaurant Le Charbon Steakhouse

I was told that this was a wonderful steak house and we should not miss it. the folks who told me that have no clue about this place. We were seated in a corner surrounded by a large noisy group 12}our waitress seemed really concerned with them. We ordered our prime rib. When it arrived it was warm. this was the worst piece of meat I ever received in a restaurant. We had trouble cutting it let alone eating it. We were glad to see the check show up even tho our waitress never asked us about desert. this was the worst one hundred and twenty dollars ever spent.

French onion soup was delicious and steak was good. Couldn’t season the steak because of potential gluten but the meal was still very tasty. Server was friendly and knowledgeable. No issues.

The entrecôte is really excellent with a very nice and well portion side dish. The Accra were also traditionally made and with a nice spicey coleslaw.

They know well the GF.The chef is the same as the restaurant besides (Aviatic Club) and they have often GF dessert !

The steaks were touted as aged and extremely tasty, but reality was they were average.
