This is a classic, timeless fine dining restaurant. Waitstaff all wore a black, white or red jacket depending on their rank. Service was amazing. Silverware was changed with each course. They specialize in well executed classic dishes, many of which are flambéed tableside. We ordered a Parmesan croquette appetizer, and beef bourguignon for two (flambéed by our chef Allen at our table) with a mushroom gravy made from the juices in the flambée. For dessert, we had crepes Suzette also flambéed. It was all so good that we went back the next night and we requested the same chef. It was our 39th wedding anniversary so I requested a special table, and was looking forward to the meal. Especially chateaubriand for two. This tenderloin meat typically served with Béarnaise sauce, came to us undercooked and without sauce. The table we were seated at was beside thee front entrance noisy and felt like last minute table-not one reserved many days ahead of time) also it was crammed into a corner with limited room for staff to work on a side table. Lovely ambience with top notch service. The food is excellent—prepared table-side. Everything we ordered was delicious: local cheese plates, then duck l’orange and peppercorn steak—flambé style. A very entertaining and memorable experience!
The most incredible dining experience and service. The food was delicious and we were always engaged with staff members , but never once did we feel rushed through the dinner service . Will return again

My experience was quite disappointing. It was my husband’s birthday, and we did not enjoy the steak at all—it was overly seasoned with pepper. However, the service was good.
