Attentive service along with amusing banter was delivered in full by our waiter after he first seated us on the terrace...overlooking the lake. Perfect weather helped. We opted for the 19.5 euro menu and were absolutely delighted by the choice, quality and presentation of the food. A really lovely touch with the salmon fishcake was that it was served as a cake. We have driven around this area for a few years. This time in June to see the lavander fields they did not disappoint. Fantastic sight and photo opportunity. Stopped at Les Cavalets for lunch. Fantastic view (best in the Gorge). Great service. Fresh water.. crevettes were on the menu. Very tasty. Good local wine list. Hotel has great view. Seemed busy. Would go back.

Last night for Sunday dinner and it was okay. my wife had a dessert of cream brulee (here favorit,) but it wasn't the best. on a more positive note were the fillet steaks that we had both cooked until perfection. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen?

We eat here quite regularly when in France. Went yesterday for Sunday lunch and it was OK. My wife had a dessert of Creme Brulee (her favourite) but it wasn't the best. On a more positive note the Fillet steaks we both had were cooked...to perfection. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen
