We have delighted in going to this restaurant as a couple and with friends and family for over 8 years. Sadly, the restaurant is under new ownership since this spring. We have been there a few times on our own, and the food has been a bit off - not freshness-wise, but preparation and taste-wise.Wednesday the 3rd July, we called at about 15.00 and reserved a table for 10. We arrived promptly at 18:30 - 6 grown ups and 4 children aged 3-8. We were the only table with children in the restaurant. It was not full, yet it took almost 45 minutes before everyone had a menu in their hands, and it took 2 hours for us to get our main course! Das Essen ist nichts besonderes, bei dem nächsten schnellimbiss ist es gleich gut jedoch einiges billiger, das Preis leistungs verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht! Die Bedienung war die reinste Katasrophe, sie konnte sich nicht einmal die Getränke merken. Auuserdem nie nachgefragt! You can eat very well in an excellent atmosphere. Ideal for two or a larger group. Just drop by and see for yourself. We didn't eat here, but it's a very pleasant bar/pub, with friendly staff and reasonable prices (for Switzerland). The barmaid was very nice and attentive, and two of my three companions were very keen on her. They'll be lucky... Nice place.

The restaurants is nicely redecorated and the food we enjoyed there was good with a pleasent service. The local pinot noir however did not convince us - we should have known. Next to restaurant is a bar with smoking lounge.
