As part of a company event, I was at Hotel Colosseo, which included breakfast in this restoration. The very ambitious overnight price included a tactical smart low price for ancillary services, which probably meant breakfast. Even if this breakfast price has been set optically low, I expect a certain minimum level in a hotel in this price category, even if these are less oriented towards corporate and private customers. Comments on mass production and the tightly standing tables and chairs should be omitted. We were staying in the hotel and wanted to have a nice dinner. The pizzeria in the hotel recommended it as a nice dine place. Service was average or less and the dishes took ages to be ready. The pasta was over cocked and not fresh. The meat was too plain. The side salad was soaked in dressing. The wine was boring. Way too expensive for the quality one gets. For a restaurant in Germany (where one usually get excellent food for descent price) it was unfortunate the bad combo of very average food and an expensive bill.
I had a meal here with some friends in October 2015. I had a really nice pasta dish, it was quite expensive, but very nice, you pay for what you get! The wines were quite cheap though, a litre for about €7! There was a buffet restaurant in the hotel too, but it was like €30! This was definitely the best bet. We didn't stay in the hotel but the theming and hotel looked great, really very nice! Recommended just for a look around even if you don't want to eat!
The restaurant is located within the Colosseo Hotel and normally you need to reserve a table. You can order a-la-carte, but you can also opt for a chefs menu (which is, in my opinion, overpriced). The service is good, live music and good quality and size dishes. Make sure you do not order too much)))

The food is good italian cuisine with good ingrdients. Prices are reasonable considering that that it's a theme park hotel.Service is a bit slow and not super professional. Waiters are very kind but don't seem well trained considering the size of the restaurant. At times they seem overwhelmed.
We liked the setting, the service and the food was good but felt this was quite expensive for what it was for a family of 4. Next time we will go and eat in Europa Park where you can eat a bit cheaper..
together with friends and Family this Restaurant within the Hotel colosseo has nice Food for everyone in a classical italian style. the dark light makes everyone sleepy after a day in the europapark...
Ideal for families, lively, noisy and huge but with great staff, well cared for, excellent buffet with huge choice, great desserts too.
