After a long day driving from Ottawa on the way to NB we decided to call it a day and find an hotel in Riviere du Loup. Checked in at the Best Western Plus. Nice hotel. Asked the front desk for take out menus, they suggested Restaurant Normandin who delivers for free. Great we thought.Ordered their family special, four 7" pizzas, a family size fried and a 2L of Seven up for $20.99. I asked how many ingrediants, lady said just pick 4 of our pizzas on the menu. So I asked if we could add olives to pepperoni pizzas she said yes. I ordered a BBQ pizza no oignions. Well we got our pizzas fast enough, within 40 minutes. My wife and I stopped at Normandin restaurant in Riviere-du-Loup on our way to the Magdalen Islands on August 26th. The restaurant was busy, but we decided to give it a try since we were hungry and it was getting late. We were pleasantly surprised by the quick service and delicious meals. My wife ordered the Chicken brochette on rice with a side of Caesar salad, while I went for the Chicken Club sandwich with fries and coleslaw. We enjoyed a cold bottle of white wine with our meal, and Erika, our server, was efficient and friendly. We highly recommend Normandin restaurant in Riviere-du-Loup, QC.
Been here a few times and the food was good. Unfortunately during our recent visit, we ordered out and were quite disappointed with our meals. My panini sandwich had hardly anything in it and the bread was hard as rock. The small poutine was extra small, I would not like to see their mini poutine ... probably 2-3 fries LOL. Though the service was quick, I would not recommend to order out from this place.
The service here was very poor and on top of that there are nearly 0 gluten free options, had to go eat mcdonalds without a bun after my visit here because I didnt trust what i was being served. Scary! Normandin in general needs to get with the times in accomodating those with gluten intolerance or severe allergies!!! We didnt get water with our meals! Terrible!

We ordered the Normandin Special pizza to be brought to our hotel. There was so much stuff on the pizza the dough could not bake through. The whole thing was inedible. More and bigger is NOT better.
Good place to stop on a family trip. We stopped eating a meal and charged our EV. Everything went well, the staff was nice and the food was good for a family restaurant.
This is the first time I have ever dined at a Normandin so the review may not be specific to this location in Riviere du Loup.

Terrible place. Do not eat here. Ignorant staff. Will not speak English even though they know. Terrible food.
not the price they pay. service is the most medium and the tellers are quite small in size for what they pay.
