Started with the creamed spinach soup. I honestly didn't think it could get any better than that. Then, the chicken with sauce came in a basket. I had never eaten an entire 1/2 chicken before, but I polished it off cleanly and used the rest of the bread to sop up the remaining sauce. Delicious!The service was incredible. We finished off the meal with a shot of their housemade grappa. I absolutely love Switzerland, and this meal on our last day there was the perfect finishing touch!
The Restaurant Schifflände, has a speciality: Chicken in the basket. This restaurant is mostly known for this speciality and it is totally worth it to drive all the way from Zurich to try this chicken. The service is also very friendly and motivated which is a rare thing in Switzerland and makes one always very happy. Great place!
Found this restaurant on trip advisor as it was one of the only places open on good Friday. Had the chicken in a basket and it was great, not entirely sure what the sauce is but it was excellent! Service was friendly and helpful they couldn't explain what the sauce was but let me try it 1st before ordering.

I visited herds abbey. on the way back to the railway station, I stopped at the restaurant naval (I found on ta). I was kindly received and given a table. poulet in chörbli looked like the court to order. So I did it and...not regret it! it was just delicious! a beautiful address near the train station.

We happened by on our way to hill for a little sledding and a visit to monastery. Very friendly and nice food. A very convenient location and open to having 2 small children in tow
was here with a friend to show herds and finally we started to get hungry. we decided to eat on this place too lunchtime, and it was really good to eat and service.
