The Schlussel has the ambiance, food and service that make dining in Europe a little better, and culturally different, from the States, The Mrs. and I shared the signature Chateubriand with a good Bordeaux from a very competent wine list , The meal was served in two flights, the second kept warm tableside until we were ready for it. The owners both came out to check on the food and service and to accept our complements on a very good meal.The restaurant is organized into two area with a local hangout kind of place in the front and a white tablecloth area in the back. Es ist immer wider ein genuss im Schlüssel essen zu gehen. Ob ein leckereshaus gemachtes Cordon-Bleu, Orginal Wienerschnitzel am Tisch zubereitet oder ein feines Chateau- Briand mit hausgemachter Sauce Bernaise einfach ein Traum. Auch die Weinkarte mit ausgelesenen Weine aus nah und fern macht jedes mal freude durch zublättern.

Im Schlüssel Sachseln war ich schon oft. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl bei diesem sympatischen Wirtepaar. Die Küche ist frisch uns ausgezeichntet. Beim Château Briand ist auch die Gemüseauswahl mit 9 Gemüsen sehr gross. Der Service ist stets sehr aufmerksam.Bravo

Leider gibt's nur Kaffee, aber dafür sehr guten und sehr preiswert. Das Personal erinnert eher an gut ausgebildete Elektriker als an Servicepersonal.Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Wo der Wirt noch selber in der Küche steht, gepflegtes Lokal , sehr Gute Fleischgerichte, wir kommen wieder!
