Restaurant Suppenalp

This wonderful restaurant was recommended to stop by on my north face hike. It is in the most stunning location, about an hour into my hike. Located in a flower filled meadow with incredible views across the fields to the mountains. It was a picture...perfect day there! No reservations required to get the most stunning table. The menu is great, lots of variety and incredibly low prices for Switzerland and being at this remote location. Such a charming old farm house. I ordered a delicious sandwich on home baked bread, it was one of the fresher, best tasting sandwiches I’ve ever had and I travel the world , so that’s a lot of sandwiches I’ve tried before! the local Dark lager beer was amazing too! And cold! Super friendly service, you can always tell when the owner is waiting on you. They are kind, they care and they are basically welcoming you into their home. If I had time, I would hike back just to go there and eat again! One of my favorite memories and meals of my trip! Thankyou!

We have always done our best to stop by this place just before the lifts close. Very cozy, almost always packed with other skiers not quite ready to leave the mountain, with unforgettable views of Eiger, Jungfrau and Monch, great choice of mostly rock music...and frendly staff.

So worth the extra walk/ski from across the Blumental Valley. The food is great (especially the rosti) and the terrace is the best spot for lunch or a drink later in the ski season or during the summer when the sun is out.

Great place in Murren. Very easy to reach from the city centre (45min walk). It is also next to the slope 22. Very nice staff. We had the best roast ever!!!

Very cozy and traditional place with the best views! Don't miss it! And you have to try the original alpine roses!
