Restaurant Tramstubli

We were in Pratteln to see a concert, and we fell upon this place by chance. The waiter (owner?) spoke little English (although much more than our German) but could not have been more helpful or friendly. We had the specialty paella, which was excellent. Also serenaded by a pair of South Americans playing acoustic guitars, both of who were both good guitarists and had very good voices ... The restaurant is right next to the central tram stop in Pratteln, and just a 2 minute walk from the station - well worht a visit, even if you're staying in Basel.

We were staying at the ibis budget in Pratteln and ventured out here for dinner. Staff don't really speak English by we got by on our German and the food was delicious - we had pork and sausages. The weather was beautiful so we sat on the terrace and the service was excellent - you should definitely try this place out if you happen to be in Pratteln. A bit pricey overall, but so is everything in Switzerland! We'd definitely return though!

My friend and I were looking for some beer and good burgers in Pratteln. By coincidence we ended up in the Tramstuebli and we had a really good time. It seems that the concept of this restaurant is relatively new. I don't know how it was before.The burger and the club sandwich were excellent and pretty big in size. The service was very friendly. We will be back soon!

A delicious meal with delightful flavours from herbs growing right in the garden around your dining table. Loved the spicy prawn dish and the risotto. Good value for money.
