We paid for our order of tacos and drinks in advance. After enjoying our small tacos, we were approached by a young girl who shouted at us, asking if we had paid for one of the drinks. We had paid for everything that was charged to us, but it turned out they had forgotten to charge us for one drink. While it's understandable that mistakes happen, the way they confronted us was extremely disrespectful. Instead of politely mentioning their oversight, they made a huge scene over a single drink that they failed to charge us for. We followed the process and paid for what we ordered, so it was frustrating to be treated like we hadn’t. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and it’s clear why...
When I moved to Whittier about two years ago, Reven was a strong competitor to Taco Nazo. The food quality was outstanding, and the service was excellent. However, I've noticed a steady decline in both the food and customer service lately. They seem to mess up our orders every single time we visit. The beans are consistently too salty, and the staff often appears disinterested. I'm not sure if there's new management or if the current management has simply stopped caring.
I've been a regular at this restaurant for years, but today I was shocked to find that a two-taco plate now costs $13.99! I couldn't believe it. On top of that, they charge extra for card payments. I ended up walking out. It's disappointing to say this, but I won't be returning, as that's at least a $5 increase from previous months.
More and more people have discovered this place because, in the past, I could get my orders right away. Now, there are always longer lines of customers. I make it a point to go on Taco Tuesdays. I absolutely love the Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca!

Every time I visit this restaurant, I feel incredibly welcomed! The staff are exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. And I can't say enough about how delicious the food and special drinks are! I would rate it a perfect 10/10!

The food was satisfactory, but they didn’t have any guacamole. They also ran out of horchata, and the cashier was somewhat impolite. If you're seeking authentic Mexican cuisine, this might not be the right spot for you.
The gobernador tacos were fantastic! The restaurant wasn't very busy, but it still took almost 30 minutes for my order to arrive. The staff appeared a bit disorganized, and there was definitely some language barrier.

I went for the first time to try the fish tacos and shrimp, and everything was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back.
They support military personnel, and the food is outstanding.
