Rickshaw Restaurant

Visited Muskoka and (of course) - MUST DO - LUNCH at the Rickshaw. The place was clean as always, server very warm and friendly and the food was HOT, DELISH, WHOLESOME and didn't break the bank* You can't go wrong here - if you FIND A PLACE - who serves fresh, "good for you food" - (yah okay, if you're going to order deep fried everything but shoes. NOT SO GOOD FOR YOU) - however, if you hoover a super eggroll and a pile of various poultry and meat dishes WHILE still being veggie loaded, rice, chow mein etc. THIS IS THE PLACE

While renting a cottage for 2 weeks in Gravenhurst - I did my pilgrimage to the Rickshaw Restaurant. My family were visiting and I decided to order take out to bring back to cottage. I ordered Lemon Chicken, Cantonese Chow Mein and Chicken Fried Rice complimented with Egg Rolls. There were 3 of us and we still had plenty to heat up for lunch the next day. It was REALLY GOOD and as dependable as always* It really is a great bang for your buck!

Went in here for takeaway. Ordered and sat down waited for ages for the food to come out. While I was in another customer came back with his food because he got the wrong thing and got a refund. When I did get the food it wasn't very good the calamri was like rubber and the chicken balls where huge and hot very good. Don't go here. Restaurant itself looked very run down and unloved inside.

Went to the Rickshaw restaurant this past weekend for lunch while in Gravenhurst. The restaurant offer the standard Chinese comfort foods (eg. egg roll, fried rice etc). The decor is simple and service is friendly and efficient. Do not expect a five star service decor and restaurant, but you will get friendly service and a decent portion size at a reasonable price

Good service and clean simple decor with great food and excellent value. Cantonese Chow Mein is full of shrimp, bbq pork, chicken and lots of vegies, too. Ask for the hot Chinese mustard to compliment this dish...its a whole meal. MMM!

We thought we would give this restaurant a try while visiting friends in gravenhurst. Order sauces on the side. The meals are huge. Chicken balls are all chicken and about the size of racket balls . Everything was really good.

Old school decor but great food. Never had a bad meal. Nothing fancy here. Fast and friendly and of course a fortune cookie and horoscope placemats.

We had heard the chicken balls were big. But didn't believe it till we ordered for our first time last week. Delicious. We will defiantly be back
