Rio Grande - Reservar una mesa

Rio Grande has been my favorite restaurant for years. I’ve always enjoyed everything I’ve had there. However things have changed. I ordered Texas style fajitas: chicken, beef, and shrimp (lunch portion). Disappointed. Mostly chicken, very little beef and only 2 small shrimp.The portion was very fine, however, the meal itself was a total disappointment.Apparently they are pre-cooking the fajitas and then reheating them to serve to you. My fajitas were terrible. They tasted reheated. They did not taste fresh. The vegetables were soggy and dripping with liquid because of sitting so long. If I wanted reheated food, I’d go to Taco Bell!!I expect that my food is freshly cooked and taste fresh inst...

The reason I’m doing this is because today my my girlfriend went to eat at Rio with her whole family, and tried to enjoy the time at Rio because it’s always a great place. But the problem is that when they get up to pay all the workers from there just stared at her and made her feel really uncomfortable. Like are you there to work or to stare at females? It was just really uncomfortable. They should tell their employees something!!!

Excellent service helped me to make something reasonably authentic from what's on the menu. Friendly place. I really wish that genuine authentic Mexican food were available in this area but I usually make it at home and think of Jalisco.

Unfortunately, I can't recall what I had. I didn't do pic. So, not memorable for me. I went w a couple of family. So, if they took me here, it must be good. Or we never would've been here.

Awesome folks here,we love going to eat at Rio in nitro and valley. Great food and staff..must try if haven't..
