Food took a n unreasonable amount of time to get brought out (including the starter which was given to us almost a half hour before the main. they have changed their chips on the menu from a golden crunchy chip to a plain old chip that looks like it come from a pack of coles home brand straight out of the freezer. no crunch and half of them are green. the bun on my chicken burger was under toasted which made the whole burger unpleasantly soggy, and to top off an already underwhelming experience the chicken in said burger was incredibly over cooked. guilty as charged! ok, it is known as the prisons, but I swallowed my proud and expected an under-average food. young had mistaken me. they haven't been here for a while. one of the most beautiful things was the delicious garlic bread and steak. Now, the garlic bread was 4 pieces cold bread. browned on a side with tasteless garlic butter....$9 I could add not have ordered the steak...at $40 plus. what a sweat! I ordered the broken fish. fish was nice, but the chips weren't. my partner ordered chicken burgers....before found 2 pieces huh in it. totally unimpressed, complained to the waitress who said she would give it to the cook. she said the menu had changed. I'd say put back the old menu. the staff was nice, the menu prices and meals not good. will not be back soon.
We’ve been staying at the Discovery Park for the last three days and while this pub is convenient, the hospitality is awful.Working and owning a pub ourselves, we understand what makes and breaks a good experience and your staff did just that.Each night we have arrived we have been greeted with sour faces and below average service. Instead of having a chinwag with your fellow hospo employee, serve the 10 people in front of you, or better yet, serve them the beer that they actually order.

we booked 4 days earlier and confirmed with the personal if we could bring a vaters tageskuchen. Previously only advised, raw fish and sloppy looking pasta, received bad service at the bar, waited the staff looked like they were not there....After we have brought out our cake to say that they have no knife, teller and fork for the cake we have told them that they could deliver. unfortunately most of us do not come back!
Stayed at this location had a meal here on our last night very new and modern . 2 out of the 3 meals where perfect third meal was a chicken schnitzel and chips salad where perfect the chicken was soggy and gravy tasted burnt ....Good menu though some of the staff where friendly and some well we seemed like an inconvenience a smile and hello goes along way
absolutely terrible eating. paid $27 for a caeser salad that came in the smallest bowl (picted like a 2 dollar kmart bowl) with deer salat, gum-like chicken that was cold and used fish tasting to be amazing quality, but definitiw went down hill. Ordered scotch steak medium. It was way over cooked, grisly and tough. Wasn’t scotch fillet steak either. Certainly not worth the pice…..won’t be going back. Chips were soggy. My partners meal was “average” in his words. Garlic bread delicious, staff awesome. Meals…****
