Our recent visit to Rising Son for a midweek business brunch was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with a warm ambiance and excellent service that set the tone for a wonderful experience. The fresh pineapple juice mimosa was the perfect way to kick off the meal. For our main courses, we opted for the catfish and grits and were blown away by the flavors and presentation. The catfish was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned to perfection, while the grits were creamy and comforting. The five stars are all for Aminah , a great personality makes the restaurant. I haven’t even made it to my car yet and I am making this review. The fried green tomatoes weren’t my favorite, but the fish and grits did what they needed to do. And the dumplings are everything. My daughter had a spicy chicken sandwich and it was pretty good too except I think they should change the bread. The fries with it were A1 banging. I also enjoyed a mimosa and it was just a good vibe like I was in Miami or something. Overall great customer service and good vibes.

Simple unassuming fare executed with skill. You don’t have to order like a drunk caveman like I did (see picture chicken, bacon, cheddar biscuit with sausage gravy topped with excellent hot sauce made by the bartender Thomas), there’s plenty of veggies on the menu! House made soda, an honest to god Meat 3 plate, and so much more. The only downside of this spot is that it’s not next door to my house.

I have always had a good experience here and have brought friends who like it too.The servers have been welcoming and accomodating.The food is so yummy that it made my tongue slap my brains out(Southern saying). Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a Sunday morning breakfast here. Service was great. Some food was good, some was underwhelming. Table and menus were really sticky. For the cost, I’d probably opt for Waffle House next time.
