Ristorante Filippo

I wish that I had never walked into this place. Being a chef myself, I love supporting family owned establishments. I read the reviews and I thought that I would love this place, but nothing could be further from the truth. The place is falling apart for starters, and my guest shared her concerns, but the owner 's wife was welcoming, so I said, Lets ' give this place a chance, so we stayed. Nothing went right from this point forward: Items listed on the menu were not available, the wait staff were inattentive (I had to clear my own table twice), odd ingredient choices by the chef/owner, who, by the way, was seldom in the kitchen, but was constantly working the room. Once again, what our favorite restaurant has become was absolutely great. my friend got chicken parmigiana, I had the auberginenparmigiana and both were perfect. our (favorite) waiter was great, so all men are in ristorante filippo. I feel like this place is the perfect example for a hidden gem, and how more people find out about it will understand more people why it is so popular with us masters. Check it out soon!

Awesome as always. Dan our waiter is the best. Grilled chicken and pasta and the chicken parmigiana were both delicious.
