My second trip to Zurich Airport in less than a month and I decided to do some research after a bad meal on trip number one, definitely worth the effort. I was staying at the Park Inn but obviously the McDonalds on premises or the food court back at the airport were not going to be optimal. Decided on Ristorante Romatica based on the great reviews and if anything it was better than the reviews.Started with a caprese salad, and it was incredible. Not only was there a generous portion of buffalo mozzarella but more importantly it was the ideal ripeness. Not too soft but perfect, the tomatoes were also in season and the balsamic and oil was in perfect balance. My daughter and wife also loved the olives that were given to us (I'm not an olive aficionado).For a main, I had grilled fillet of sole. It was a very, very generous portion and also prepared well. For me, fillet truly needs to mean no bones, and there was not even a tiny one. The fish also had a nice, light sauce. The accompanying vegetables were fresh.I normally would not have dessert but was on such a high from the first two courses I had to and was not let down. I have no idea what it was called but had a parcel filled with chocolate pudding with fresh fruit on the side, fantastic and actually light after such a large meal.As a nice final touch, they gave us a glass of Limoncillo with the bill.Also, very nice outdoor dining, great on a nice night.
