LOOKS CLASSY ! My wife and I heard about this Italian restaurant when we were dining on the rooftop at Mozambique a few days ago. Our server Juan told us that Ivan Spiers the owner of Mozambique also owns Rumari. Well that got our attention because everything Ivan does usually turns to gold. After leaving Mozambique we walked along the sidewalk until we came upon Rumari. It looked packed out and the staff were singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY in Italian to a dinner guest. I asked Julie the hostess for a dinner menu to check out....plus a dessert menu. It all looked very inviting !
First time and it won’t be the last, so happy my wife and I try this restaurant. It took us back when we visited Florence. Everything we order was prepared and seasoned perfectly. I order my drink name after my daughter and me and they made it to perfection, I call it the Arabella Sprits: Aperol, Prosecco, Limoncillo and Tequila with a slice of Orange. Try it you’ll love it.. The service was top notch and love that the chef walk around the restaurant talking to us. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.
We had called several times and each time were told we would get outside seating. We get there and the hostess in a pink dress tells us we can’t sit outside and to “take it or leave it”. We say we made reservations for outside and just called. She said that doesn’t matter and to either sit inside or leave. Out of principal we left and most likely will never come back. If they didn’t have outdoor seating they should’ve told us when we called the third time, 10 minutes before arriving.
This place is excellent! Prices are good. I liked that the wine list had many different wine available by glass, that was nice to see. Busy place, but seated as we walked in the door. Valet park at “Mozambique” and walk a very short distance to the restaurant, 1 min walk tops. Make that reservation, highly recommended. This is our 2nd time here since last year.

Our party of 7 really enjoyed our evening celebrating our beautiful daughters 50th Birthday. Everyone had a different entre and everyone said that their meal was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice as well. We are all from out of town, but I highly recommend this fine Italian restaurant Service: Dine in
I was disappointed in our dinner the other night.. the Bolognese was tasteless and the veal piccata was one of the worst we have had. I’ve had the Filet with peppercorn sauce before and loved it and the service here is amazing but they need to work on their Italian recipes.. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Celebrated a 50th birthday party of 7. Everyone ordered and everything was delicious. Just the best!!!. You can taste the pride chefs put into their dishes. The waitress was excellent too. I wish we lived there, we would be there all the time. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My mom used to take us every Friday night, Dante and everyone was sooooo sweet. The food amazing and love the calamari. Best dessert and atmosphere Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
