We come here a few times a year and typically it 's been okay. But today we had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were not greeted, and the only staff member present was the bartender. Not sure what to do... my fiancé went to the bar to ask for a menu and was met with an attitude. The bartender curtly informed us that the only menu available was online. We decided to sit at the bar, where there were some serving trays in front of my seat. When my fiancé moved them aside to make room, the bartender rudely snapped, I 'll take care of those, sir. The lack of basic courtesy and the unwelcoming atmosphere made for a terrible experience. I have been coming to River’s Edge since they opened. It’s a nice place with a great atmosphere and location. Although the faces sometimes change, the service has always remained excellent to me. You will find a great selection of beer, with plenty of styles to choose from (which I really like in a brewery). My only complaint is that as of late, I have experienced a decline in the quality of the beer. It’s not terrible by any means, just nowhere near as good as it used to be. I’m not sure the reason (change of supplier, brewer, etc). I will say that the Chubby Benny that has been aging was well worth the wait!
