When you call on an order, you expect to talk to a woman who is a bit short and not excessively polite. If you expect the counter to deal with an older gentleman with an equally indifferent and unacceptable disposition. Who cares? Maybe it's part of the charm. Most importantly, you can expect on a paperboard that is absolutely delicious and cheap. The whole menu is solid, but they serve one of the best burgers in the city in its purest, simplest form without imagination ingredients or spices you can hardly pronounce. A Baton Rouge institution safe. The food must be great if the customer service has no friendly touch and the place is constantly packed with a lunch crowd. 5/5
I left the women's hospital for chemotherapy and searched online for food places near me. I chose Riverside Patty after seeing her reviews about the food and service. I came and entered the place for the first time with about 25 minutes before it was closed. When I checked her menu, the Lord informed me that they were closed soon. He was not very friendly as he impatiently tipped his fist on the counter to make me place my order. I usually ran away, but I haven't eaten in 845 in the morning. I put my order and we went with about 12 minutes before they closed. The food didn't disappoint me, but I expected a better service.
Good food, but... I could easily say that my political views were not welcome there... Notes... Not a first, but unnecessary tensions make me uncomfortable. I'm sorry for this review because I hate talking politics, but... I had several people out of my way to warn against liberal views since I was here in Louisiana. This is partly the reason why I no longer choose; too much ignorance, too much hatred. Democracy has failed. I accept it for what it is, but I take care of people more than money, so I just don't vote. I trust God, it is not really important enough to participate in society?
Stopped by for a quick hamburger lunch traveling back to Texas from Florida. Hamburgers were delicious. I had bacon cheese burger and tots. Hubby had one of the specialty burgers with jalepenos and fries. The burgers were huge and delicious ! The place was clean and definitely no frills but worth the stop.
