Have been dining at the Road Hole for many years now, always at Christmas time, and it has always been a 5 star experience. This time was no different, every course cooked to perfection, plated perfectly and totally delicious. But from previous years it makes me a little sad to see the menu become somewhat downgraded and limited. It seems to be trending towards being just a grill restaurant for main course, the options were steak, steak, steak, venison, cauliflower steak, or halibut. Not being a steak/red meat fan, that leaves just one choice for me. As luck would have it, a great choice that suits me well, but still. In my opinion, the chef and team there are so talented that they're wasted...
Simply awesome. Great service and great food. Had the cod and it was so fresh. Wife loved it. I had the filet and it was a perfect medium rare. Wine was awesome and desert was to die for. This place has been our fav so far. Pretty upscale and awesome servers. I went to breakfast earlier and had the buffet and it was awesome. Stayed at the hotel and it is totally updated. Super nice and quiet..
Good food with a stunning view unfortunately let down by bad service. We had to wait over an hour between the starter and our main course and one member of our party was given the wrong main course. We didn’t end up staying for dessert. The staff explained that the kitchen is cooking for two restaurants, but if this is the case then they need to hire more chefs. Such a shame. Service: Dine in
We all loved the place! A friend had recommended the Sunday lunch which was an awesome deal for three delicious courses. A delightful atmosphere, excellent food, and outstanding service. One of the waitresses named Paris recommended wine to go with our food and made sure we were having our best time.

Had Sunday lunch soup was delicious roast beef for was not cooked the we asked the veg and potatoes were not freshly cooked gravy cold plates cold great service form waiters but that's all I can say good about the lunch Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40

Food was average, service was ok, they took so long to get our drinks. The view is absolutely incredible but that’s about it. Extortionately expensive. Do not get the ricotta starter Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
