My husband and I were looking for a quick breakfast spot in the neighborhood and found this gem. Tiny spot with limited seating, but we were able to snag a seat. We both had the avocado toast with fried eggs which was delicious. They were also super accommodating for gluten free all of their toasties and sandwiches can be made on GF bread. I even watched the cook use parchment to protect my GF bread from cross contamination when toasting! Husband also had a side of bacon, which he raved about. Highly recommend for meat loving and gluten free visitors!
Came here with my partner for lunch and we left very satisfied! We ordered peri peri chicken ciabatta and a cheesesteak ciabatta for a modest price and they were delicious! The best part of lunch though was the mochas. They were made and served to us by a staff member, Viola, who was very pleasant to us and made sure we were having a good lunch. She was fast in making our order and served it to us with a smile on her face! 100% recommend it for a great lunch spot due to the tasty food and friendly staff!
The pulled pork sandwich is one of best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The pork was very tender and was covered in tasty bbq sauce. There was also a good dollop of homemade coleslaw on the top. Great price too. The Cafe inside is small and during covid times is not available for sitting in. There are a few tables outside but most people were getting their food to-go. You've got to try this place!
Yet again turned up at 2.45 on a Sunday to find Roast had closed early....With a 3pm vlose advertised I was disappointed to pindar it closed at 2.45 after driving 7 miles to get there......So disappointed as I absolutely love the food here. Maybe a good idea to open slightly later.Cant understand why it closes so early when clearly the business is there...

Stopped off for a bite of lunch before visiting the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. We had an excellent soup and sandwich sit in, the food was fresh and tasty and the staff very pleasant and efficient. Price was most reasonable, would highly recommend this wee gem of a place. It was busy with takeaways too.
Dropped in today on a recommendation from a friend for a sandwich to go. There was lots of options including many vegetarian choices. I went for a toastie with vegi haggis, cheese, mushrooms and beans and it was delicious! Will definitely be back again (fully willing to try every option on the menu!
We where just looking for some brunch and we where not disappointed. The staff where very friendly and helpful. Dogs are made very welcome They do a choice of different sandwiches, paninis and rolls. The steak panini was soo tasty! We will definitely be back to try more!
So glad I popped into Roast yesterday morning. I had an excellent breakfast roll and great coffee. Service was quick and pleasant. Surprised it was so quiet. Hopefully more people will support this great wee coffee shop.

Lovely coffee! Really strong and an OK pastry. It was small so nowhere to really sit but I guess good to takeaway from there
Easily one of the best places in Glasgow the philli cheese steak will blow your mind and your load!!!!
